This project aims to create a GPS based autonomous drone with lightweight delivery system similar to that of Amazon. However, this drone solely depends on GPS sensors to automatically guide itself to its destination.
The project develops an autonomous drone from scratch, using GPS sensors and rugged drone frame. It uses Raspberry Pi B+ as the controller for the drone to determine flight path and etc. The drone also uses Navio+ as part of autopilot system for more precise flight path creation. The overall cost for making this drone does not seem to fit our budget of the project as the navigation controller took significant part of the budget.
