Coaching Questions Group 1
To help your group and the teachers prepare for the tutor meetings, we would like you to answer a few questions in between sessions. The following paragraphs list the questions for each of the weeks, please write you answers directly underneath the questions.
After the kick-off - Week 1
- What are you expecting to learn during the Robots course?
- Literature Research.
- Learning all the aspects of a similar project.
- Starting from scratch to discover something new.
- What kind of coaching do you expect?
- Only interfere when we are taking a really wrong turn or get stuck.
- Remind us of the things we forget to take into account.

After the first tutor meeting - Week 2
- What is the most interesting thing you learned in the coaching meeting of the previous week and why?
- We did not prepare enough.
- Assess our ideas more critically.
- How did you incorporate coaches' feedback of the previous meeting in your project?
- We made a planning.
- We had an extra hour as a group to prepare for the meeting.
- What new activities did you undertake during this week? What did you learn from these activities?
- Literature research.
- What did you do to prepare for next week's meeting?
- An extra hour together as a group.
After the second tutor meeting - Week 3
- What is the most interesting thing you learned in the coaching meeting of the previous week and why?
- We can now assume our autonomous robot works and exists. This helps us a lot in specifying our goal.
- How did you incorporate coaches' feedback of the previous meeting in your project?
- The goal shifted from the robot and the greenhouse to mainly the greenhouse and its specifics.
- What new activities did you undertake during this week? What did you learn from these activities?
- Divide the tasks more concretely. Learned to plan ahead better.
- What did you do to prepare for next week's meeting?
- An extra meeting for determining questions and problems for the next week.
After the third tutor meeting - Week 4
- What is the most interesting thing you learned in the coaching meeting of the previous week and why?
- Make an even more concrete planning.
- The USE aspects can be useful for making a list of requirements.
- How did you incorporate coaches' feedback of the previous meeting in your project?
- We divided the USE aspects and for each of them wrote a list of what that specific group needs.
- What new activities did you undertake during this week? What did you learn from these activities?
- We made the Wiki more stuctured.
- We implemented the USE aspects in our project.
- What did you do to prepare for next week's meeting?
- We contacted a professor from Wageningen.
- Planned an extra meeting on friday.
After the fourth tutor meeting - Week 5
- What is the most interesting thing you learned in the coaching meeting of the previous week and why?
- On how to incorporate the model with the use aspects in mind, making it for us a lot clearer what has to be in the model and how to continue writing the Wiki.
- How did you incorporate coaches' feedback of the previous meeting in your project?
- After the tip of the PhD’er who has models about the growth of potatoes, we went to him with the question if we could use the model or could get some tips from him, having a more exact model will give us a more accurate end result, and thus hopefully a better end product.

- Use the model and a planning.

- Again schedule an extra meeting and make a more detailed planning to map out the important next steps we have to make.
