Openings
Concept 1 - Sliding lid
| Concept Description: Sliding doors at the outer end of the entire mailbox. After passing these doors the package is processed further. These doors are placed on a drone landing site.
How it works: The delivery drone lands on the contact points located next to the sliding doors. By making contact to the indicated spots the doors will be opened. The drone then drops the package into the mailbox. After the drone completes delivery and leaves, the signal stops and the lid closes and secures. |

Concept 2 - Bristles
| Concept Description: Opening with bristles on each side, much like a lot of mailboxes have.
How it works: The delivery drone lands over the opening with bristles. The opening is raised above the level of the surface it is placed on. When the drone lands over the opening the package gets pushed through the bristles. |

| Concept Description: Opening with flap for closure.
How it works: The delivery drone lands on a platform on the side of the building. The package is taken to and through the flap by a conveyor belt. |
