Useful existing Moodle plugins
Not a plugin, but perhaps a useful site to automatically generate math questions: http://www.aschool.us/moodle-scripts/math-questions.php
The following plugins have caught the eye of the team as they can help in achieving parts of the design requirements.
Gamification
Experience points (https://moodle.org/plugins/browse.php?list=set&id=58): give experience points to students for actions, which actions and how much points can be configured. Can also restrict course content with a level requirement.
Quizzes
- Offline quiz (https://moodle.org/plugins/mod_offlinequiz): create quizzes that can be filled in on paper and will be evaluated after being scanned in. Being able to also provide quizzes on paper could improve the learning process by providing variety.
- Question types (https://moodle.org/plugins/browse.php?list=category&id=29): a list of plugins that provide question types.
- Specifically useful types for mathematics:
- https://moodle.org/plugins/pluginversions.php?plugin=qtype_geogebra : use geogebra for questions, this software can do a lot of things with mathematics like graphing.
- https://moodle.org/plugins/qtype_stack : evaluates mathematical expressions. There are other plugins like https://moodle.org/plugins/stats.php?plugin=quiz_stack and https://moodle.org/plugins/qbehaviour_adaptivemultipart which interact with these types of questions. These plugins are listed here:
- https://moodle.org/plugins/browse.php?list=set&id=17 . One of the plugins is response analysis allowing analysis of questions from this plugin, the descriptions of these plugins seems lacking so we won’t know exactly what the possibilities here are unless we actually try using it.
- Specifically useful types for mathematics:
- Adaptive quiz (https://moodle.org/plugins/mod_adaptivequiz): estimates the user’s skill and gives questions appropriate for that skill.
Feedback
- https://moodle.org/plugins/report_myfeedback : students get an overview of received feedback.
- https://moodle.org/plugins/qbehaviour_deferredfeedbackexplain : allows students to add an explaination to their answer, this explaination does not get automatically graded.
For The use of stack we must install maxima on our server. download : https://sourceforge.net/projects/maxima/files/
- configure connection to maxima : https://tueslo.ga/admin/settings.php?section=qtypesettingstack

Some websites about effects of color on learning
In case we want to edit the color scheme of the website, colors can be selected on the effects they have on — for example — focus and efficiency.
