This article has a similar problem regarding the purification of water, namely doing it at a low cost and low energy consumption, while also minimizing the use of chemicals and adverse effects on the environment. The article states the use of membranes which inside a tube which were useful enough to purify wastewater from pulp and paper mill. The fabricated membranes displayed high water flux, great solute rejection, long-term stability of water flux, good rejection, and excellent mechanical and thermal properties. These membranes sound very promising for the use in our project, because of the long-term stability of water flux, the displayed high water flux from the membranes, great solute rejection, low cost and low energy consumption.
