Object detection and tracking for real time field surveilliance applications

The paper discusses how object detection and tracking is achieved through the use of an Arduino embedded board and a video stream. The project focuses on low cost design and yet allows freedom of choice as of hardware components.

Here we see a low budget implementation of object detection by using a camera, which is needed to avoid obstacles. This is an alternative to using IR sensors for detection.
