Assumptions

1) Weight of a box would be around 5 lbs/ 2.5 Kg. This assumption is backed up by the citation from amazon "These things will weigh about 55 pounds each, but they’ll be able to deliver parcels that weigh up to five pounds. It turns out that the vast majority of the things we sell at Amazon weigh less than five pounds." link[1]

2) The maximum distance a delivery drone can cover is assumed to be 40 km on full battery, resulting in a fly radius of 20 km since it still has to come back. This assumption is based on our research in scientific articles in which most articles proposes maximum distances between 16 – 23 km (10-15 miles) on full battery. So the average distance is assumed to be 20 km which therefor slighty simplifies the calcutions instead of having to use a maximum and miniumum distance the entire time.

3) Maximum speed a fully loaded delivery drone can reach is up to 80 km/h. This is based on the maximum speed a delivery drone from amazon can reach within its battery capacity. links[2][3]
